Loving my Moda

This is the quilt I have been working on. At least the example of it. I have choosen different fabric which I think I am even more excited about. Even though I loved those one. Click on the box above to see it.

This is one square of my quilt to be. You can see the fabrics that I am using. The fabrics are moda. I love moda they are great colors and really fun retro fabric designs. I got this design for the quilt off of Heather Baileys Blog. Which you should check out. She is so creative I love it. I have the her link in my links to the side of the post. Enjoy!

Look at you, if there are three things I wish I could do they would be sew, sing, and paint. Blast the rachel's of the world! Oh, well, maybe someday.
Great quilt!!!

My mom tried to teach me to sew one summer. She gave me some lined loose-leaf paper and instructed me to sew along the lines. After four pages of unsuccessful attempts and staying to the lines, I was quickly enrolled in tennis lessons instead. Perhaps it is time I tried to learn again. It looks like fun.

You know, my mom always told me that there would come a day when I would wish that I had let her teach me how to sew...that day is today! Actually, I've had a lot of days like that since becoming a wife and mom. I am going to try and get a sewing machine for Christmas and then maybe you can check out my blog for great quilt ideas and such! :) I LOVE your fabrics and the design of the quilt!

I can't wait to see your quilt. I loved all of the fabric that you picked out when you were here! It's going to be gorgeous! I don't know if you remember, but right before you guys came to visit I was just getting over the flu...well, Mark and Meg just came last night and I have the worst cold! Go figure huh? Should I go over there for dinner and get all their kids sick so that they can have a really good plane ride home?
