We had so much fun trick or treating at our ward Halloween party. First off, what is up with Chili and Halloween like candy isn't enough we are now going to eat beans and some how our insides aren't suppose to react. It was great Chili even though I am not a huge fan. The kids loved dressing up.
Christopher was a Ninja again, Ethan wanted to be Spiderman with a sword, and Matthew was a monkey with a sword. For boys its all about the sword. I love how excited they get to dress up and eat candy. I have to say Chris and I didn't mind testing a few of the chocolate pieces to make sure they were okay. Luckily they all passed.

These are some of our friends in there fun costums as well---------------

How fun! I love the costumes...the monkey one looks very soft. I love halloween and can't wait to eat our leftover candy from the trick-or-treaters!
Halloween is such a strange and great holiday. We had a pie and chili cook off in conjunction with our Trunk-or-Treat at the ward.
very cute rachel! and i have to say, our kids ate about 5 peices from our ward trunk or treat and we ate the rest. I think as responsible parents it is our job to make sure the candy is tasting it's best:)
I LOVE HALLOWEEN!! So my family ate chili and donuts every year for halloween dinner and I had the same thought. How do these work together for our benefit. There is a short answer to that and it is, they don't.
Wow, we made it onto the Gee Family Blog! Thanks for the photo of the supers. I love the look on Nikki's face. Priceless.
Cute costumes and cute boys. That monkey costume looks unusually well made? I love to pick out all the good chocolate stuff from my kids bags and then hand out the bad candy to other kids halloween night. No chili at our trunk or treat just a hotdog that hurt my stomache for 3 days(seriously).
Clam chowder, donuts and hot chocolate...sound better? :) That was our family tradition. I'm hanging onto the donuts and hot chocolate one for tonight, though. I've been wanting a good donut for a while with this pregnancy and I can't seem to get enough hot cocoa. However, I am feeling a little guilt about doing away with the clam chowder.
LOVE the swords. What monkey doesn't carry one around? My 20 month old is obsessed with this toy gun and won't leave the house without it.. he is constantly making this machine gun sound.. as if. Boys are so funny, aren't they?
WOW!! What fun pictures, little people and costumes!!(Beware of young, adorable, sword-carrying monkeys--they will steal all your bananas and charisma, leaving you without apeel!) Thanks for the great photos. Happy Halloween to all, and to all a FRIGHT NIGHT!
ALL OUR LOVE,
GAVIN (and Libby)
Swords for costumes and fun, I will definately keep that in mind. I think next year we will get more into Halloween, but Jake dressed up as a Monkey this year. No teeth = No candy.
some of the pictures are sideways
love all the pictures. i had so much fun the other night. so glad to have you here !!!
I miss your darling boys!!! And I must admit I really miss the chili cook off:)
Can we come visit you and have your boys teach my boy how to hold a sword and NOT a my little pony, barbie, or any other girly stuffed animal for that matter.
What a fun night! Your kids look great...remember that cute picture we got of Halle, Ethan, and Chase at the Halloween party in Cleveland? Too cute. Love you!
