Happily ever after
I am so glad to say everything went so well. I was induced on Friday Jan. 11th. I was so excited I dropped the kids off at Heather's house and off I went driving myself to the hospital. Since Chris was working at the VA hospital 45 minutes away. He got there like twenty minutes after me. Really funny checking myself in but such is the life of a resident wife. They started me at 3:30 and they don't joke around when they induce at Baptist Hospital. So they started me on patosen and broke my water all at once so I went into hard labor all at once. I don't recommend that but hey it worked. So I tried to go NATURAL but man that is tough stuff. After starting at a two and only progressing to a four in two hours I called it quits and got a spinal. Which I found out I am a hard stick since my bones sit really close to one another. So they were worried I would get another spinal head ache. But luckily I didn't and I just got the relief I needed to make it through labor. After the spinal I went from a four to a 10 in 45 minutes. And delivered at 6:57pm. So it was about 3 and half hour labor. Two pushes and he was out. I couldn't of been more pleased. Its so weird to think that I am done and now get to just enjoy my family. I couldn't be more grateful for all the prayers that were given in our behalf and truly felt like we were being watched over. Our family is just adoring little Jackson and all his little tiny parts. What a great prospective they bring to a family.
