SMILE

This has been one crazy summer. Don't get me wrong I have loved it and hate ( I know that is a strong word but really I do!) that I have to put my kids back into school at the end of the summer. I feel like I have to guard my time with them. I thought for sure once school got out I would be free to just hang out read books with them, go to the gym and then play at the pool. Not the case. I feel like life is taking over. I am seriously counting down the days tell I go to the best place on Earth HEBGEN those of you who don't know where that is. Its my cabin in Montana. HEAVEN for those of you who do know where it is. I can't wait to get there and be free from all obligations and enjoy my family. Meet my brothers Fiance who I have heard is a doll. And be suffocated by family. Let my kids play in the lake every day. Dig holes in the yard. And just be boys.

Can't wait to get there!

This sounds like I don't like it here in Winston Salem. The Truth is I love it here in Winston Salem and will cry my eye's out when I have to leave because I love it sooooo much. I think life is just starting to get more and more complex for our family. With all the different destinations and amount of work that it take so to keep this family up and going is a little overwhelming at times. Then on top of that there is Church, Neighbors, Friends, personal study, and don't forget doctor visits that never seem to end. I just keep opening up the calendar and what do you know I get to go to the doctor again this week. And that is with semi healthy kids. Thank goodness.
I am definitely at the stage where taking a shower is a luxury and even more so if its by myself. I do love that Christopher is getting so good at helping and he really enjoys it. He is so amazing this summer I am so proud of how well he wakes up gets dressed makes his bed and does his work all on his own. He is figuring out the sooner he does it the more likely I am to let him play and do what he wants. Win win for me. Ethan then follows suite. Matthew will be two for the rest of the year and so we plan on still more fits and declarations of Independence. Jackson is the best baby ever and we are all just adoring him to the max. Poor guys is luck if he gets two naps though.

I feel the same way about summer racing by. Why is it that the days and weeks go by so fast. It is already JULY! I agree that it does not seem fair to have it end so soon. You're doing a great job, Rachel. Keep it up and know that a great vacation is only a few weeks away.
