So for a couple of weeks now Christopher has been trying to get me to go on a date with him. I told him I liked nice dates and that I am worth a lot so he was really going to have to be really good to take me out. And then I would agree to go out with him. That's right !!! I don't just go out with anyone. Even my own sons have to work at getting a date with little old me. Funny huh!!! He did all his work and worked really hard to earn his date. I loved it. He asked me if I would go on a date and of course said yes. Then Dad and him planned the date. They looked up movie times and found a place he wanted to take me for dessert.
I was ready for our date at 6:30 and so was Christopher he picked some flowers from the garden. Which was so adorable cause his dad and him were planning on going to the store to get them. Chris got stuck at work and got home just in time to watch the kids. So Christopher wasn't going to let anything ruin the date. He went to the back yard and picked some of my mums. What a sweet heart. I have to say I totally fell in love with him. Ya, my boys spoil me. I love it.
I forgot! Christopher totally got ready for the date. He was so excited he ask me what he was suppose to wear and do. I told him he should dress nice. So he had on his cute golf shirt and then his Sunday shoes. And then he spiked his hair and then I put some cologne on him. He loved it!!
Chris gave him a few good tips. And gave him money to pay. He loved it.

We got in the car after he opened the door for me and got my ipod for us so we would have music. He was so funny. He would say so does the girl pick the music or do I. I would say you get to both pick. Then he said so what do we talk about. I told him he should ask me about my day and he did. This made me crack up. He was trying so hard. I told him about how I baby sat and how the kids were great and he even asked questions about who was there and what they did. So cute. Then I asked him about his day. He told me how the fun run was postponed for weather. How that stunk but it was going to be next Friday so it was okay. We got to the movie theatre and he bought the tickets he was so nervous and excited it was so cute. Then he bought us popcorn and drinks. I asked him if he wanted to get drinks and he said "Do you want to get drinks? I said ya and then I said do you want to get pop. He said " Do you want to get pop?" He was so concerned with pleasing me and making it right it was so cute. He opened every door for me and was so gentlemanly I loved it. We just kept saying how great the date was. We went and saw Wall E. It was a cute movie. Christopher talked the whole time. And laughed so hard. He was so cute. I loved spending one on one time with him.

After the movie we went to Kernel Custards. And got some food. He loved it. He even did a dance for me. You have to know Christopher does have a shy part to him so this dance he was trying really hard not to be shy but to have fun. Its so fun to be young and excited.
A perfect date. I told him he could ask me out again. And I did get the kiss at the end of the night.

oh my gosh, that is the cutest thing ever. he will remember that for the rest of his life!! I love that idea. who came up with it? will it be a tradition? He is such a cutie. Someday when the boys are older we should have a group date with one age group and all the moms. That would be fun.
This is ADORABLE! No wonder all the girls in the ward are in love with him.

He is going to make some woman very lucky some day. It is very sweet that he is already so concerned with treating women so well.
Rachel that was so much fun to read. Christopher is the cutest thing ever and in 10 years (maybe 15) he might be able to swing by the Reading house and take our little Sydney out.

The best part is all the preparation he put into it.....and hey, you even had a built in babysitter at home! so stinking cute.
PS- you may WANT to teach your boys to avoid the 1st date kiss action....just a thought.
