I had read this book in High School. I really liked re-reading this book as a mom. I appreciated it a lot more. I think I could sympathize with her more. I loved it. We decided at book group that almost every book comes back to this book for ideas. So funny but it true. Have to read it to find out.

This is one of my top ten favorite books. I wish that I could have been in on your book club discussion. I have always thought that Jane was one of the strongest female characters in literature. Have you read Wuthering Heights? It's such an interesting contrast from Jane Eyre. Reading both books had me fascinated by the Bronte sisters.
I have wanted to always read this book but for some reason or another haven't. I will have to check it out at the library!
Seriously, a favorite. Like absolute favorite. I've never been so touched by and yet felt so close to a character in a book than Jane Eyre. Love it!
