I am so grateful that Chris will be coming home tonight. He has been out of town since Friday morning.He went to Atlanta, Georgia for a Ophthalmology conference. He has had a great time. His hotel accommodations have been totally bizarre.It has been fine. Hey I even went on a date with a cute guy. Ethan took me out to dinner and ice cream. I think he had a blast. He was in heaven. I think he was a little young. Now I know they need to be in first grade to really get the whole experience down. Ethan tried to open a door for me and the thing practically took him out. He is such a light weight. He was definitely excited. He of course bounce the entire night and rolled on the floor while waiting for dinner at Chili's. He is so cute when he talks it comes out a mile a minute with his cute lisp and soft tones. I could barely hear him. I just kept nodding and tried to repeat what he said. My head was spinning by the end of the night. Still I am so in love with him.

so fun!! do you do that often? dates with your boys one on one? what a great idea! i might have to try that with elliot. you are such a great example to me. you continue to make motherhood look fun and happy! it helps me keep a smile on my face, or at least try to, on hard days.
