To the old man, Time keeps on ticking. Happy Birthday!

We started his birthday celebrations on Friday with Chris's favorite Pizza Papa Johns. The kids loved having pizza, cake, and Movie( Veggie tales, and we watched Push after the kids went to bed.)

For the day we went to Hanging Rock State Park and swam in the lake. I surprised Chris by inviting the Brown's. We had so much fun with them to bad we didn't get a picture all together.

Okay so this was so funny. These two older men looked really serious about building a sandcastle. I mean they had a big old wood box with all these shovels, boards that they screwed together to make the sandle stable. So we were all expecting this great big sand sculpter. To only turn out to be a one story castle that wasn't all that spectacular. Oh, we laughed so hard. Here is Christopher with the amazing sand castle. Ya he took it out once they left with a couple of other kids on the beach.





Kennedy, I wish we would of had a picture of Jenner, Ty, and Zack. Thanks Kennedy for the proof that your family did come. Jenner send me a picture if you have one.

Chris and I had a fun date on Saturday night, Thanks Cianne for watching our kids it was so fun. We went to Milner's a southern restaurant that we love. We both got these amazing Mash potatoes with bacon and blue cheese and my love asparagus. Then Chris got a steak that he loved. I got something unique to Winston Salem. It was this incredible Salmon crusted with Moravian cookies. A Moravian cookie kind of tastes like a ginger snap but they are super thin. They are a big thing here since the Moravian's founded this place back in the day. I am wishing I could eat it for dinner tonight it was the best Salmon I have ever tasted.
