We have been home from our summer vacations for about two or three weeks now. Honestly I couldn't tell you which. We are seriously trying to take advantage of every second here in California. We go to the beach at least two and sometimes four times in a week. The boys are getting blonder and tanner by the day. I am busy adjusting to life here and trying to get the kids signed up for school and find doctors. Putting the house together and getting to know tons of of families that are in our ward and area. We have loved everyone we have met. I will start posting pictures next week when the kids start school. Exciting and sad all at the same time. I can't believe how time has flown by. We are excited for Chris's parents to come and visit us soon. The kids keep asking how many more days.
Funny thing Matthew said today as we were finishing breakfast.
Rachel-Hey Matthew I have to go take a shower I stink.( I had just worked out, So I am so stinking sweaty)
Matthew-Ya
Rachel- oh, can you smell me?
Matthew- Taking a big whiff. Ya
Rachel- do I smell bad?
Matthew- Ya, you smell like Butter.
So now you know when I work out I smell like butter.
Jackson- is loving his new water feature in the backyard a pirate ship that him and Matthew and Ethan play with every afternoon together.
Christopher is finding lots of friends at the beach to boogie board with. And loved going to the Manhattan sand dunes last week. Its 100ft tall and the kids climb up and run down it.
Ethan is calming down some with all the energy his burning. Nice for the whole family.
Chris is loving his job and is busy. But a good busy at least. Can't wait for call to settle down at the end of the month.
Hope everyone is doing great out there.
I am happy to say I am feeling much better these days and love that we are getting into some what of a routine.

How exciting! I would love to go to the beach more often. We've only been once with the kids. It's just so far away. Enjoy it while you can.

I wish Ben would just smell like butter when he comes back from working out. That's too funny. I hope you do a photo tour of your house on your blog sometime soon. I'm glad that you guys are all settling in and happy with California and that Chris enjoys his job. That makes it all worth it! I'm jealous of the fun you get to have at the beach.
Sounds like a ton of fun living in California. Glad Chris enjoys his job makes life easier. And you sounds like the beach is treating all of you well. I can't remember how long you will be there, a year maybe. Then what maybe Utah (a girl could wish). Can't wait for more of an update with pics and all.
