PARTY ALL DAY LONG

So we have been having a blast here in California. We are trying to enjoy this place as much as possible and it hasn't been to hard. There is just so much to do. We had a great Christmas and loved getting everyone's Christmas cards. That has to be one of my favorite things about Christmas traditions. Its like a gift every day in the mail. I love all our friends and its so fun to see what they are up to so THANK YOU!

We had a blast with our kids this Christmas and started a new tradition for our family were we decided to give them three gifts and then a family experience. So they all chose their three gifts. First gift was something they needed. So all the boys chose socks. They were just as excited to get new socks as I was since they have lost or put wholes in all their socks. I had just restocked in September. So it wasn't like I am this terrible mother that just won't buy her kids socks. Its mostly that they honestly won't take care of them no matter how many times Chris and I seem to tell them to put them in the hamper or not to where them with out shoes.  Second gift is something they want. That list can always go forever and I love seeing what they all come up with. Last but not least is pick a book they want. It was so fun. Then for our family experience we gave them annual passes to Disneyland from us and both their grandparents.

We started going on the 10th of January and have already been three times. We love it there. I can't believe how much fun that place it. When they say the happiest place on Earth they aren't kidding. I want to post all the amazing fun we have been having.

I have to admit though I am truly and completely exhausted from all this fun. Either that or I am really pregnant. I feel like I have been pregnant for almost a year now and the truth of the matter is I have. We are excited for this little boy and can't wait for him to arrive in May. I can barely say May it is feeling a little far away tonight. Mostly because as much as he loves to move and squirm which I love to feel. He seems to have found a place to rest that feels like every time I take a step someone has kicked me where it counts. If anyone else has been as luck as I am to get the pleasure of having that problem I would love some solutions to helping me get through this next three and a half months( or what feels like Eternity).

Brooke and I often complain about kids and socks. Then we wonder why we don't just replace them more often when they are so cheap at places like Target or Costco.

Disneyland annual passes sound like so much fun! I bet your boys were so excited about those. The beach, Disneyland, California weather, a tv show filmed from the driveway...what an amazing adventure!

I can't believe you're having another boy as well! We're so happy for you. I know what you're saying about the kicks and uncomfortableness of pregnancy. I'm trying to remain as positive as possible for the next two months, but it is getting tough!

Rach, that is such a good idea for a Christmas list. I love it. Take some of the expectation out of it so they are just happy with it. Very smart. I seriously love Disneyland too, I don't even need to go on a single ride and I'm happy!

Your life sounds like party-central.
Congratulations on a little boy. You and Chris are awesome parents and have a great way of spoiling those cute boys you have. DISNEY passes! What more could a little kid want?

I love your Christmas gifts this year! Its perfect. your 3 things is so cute. and Disneyland is so much fun when you don't have to EVERYTHING in one day!!! nice purchase.

I'm sorry about the uncomfortable baby spot. of my 3, I had 1 "crotch kicker" (is that appropriate to say?) and it was horrible. I couldn't even sit still when she was kicking. walking helped her stop kicking for a minute and go back to sleep! good luck. feel for ya.

i am so excited to hear about your adventures with number five! we could really cause quite a spectacle with our ten, perhaps we will have to make our way out to CA!

your christmas gift ideas were great! things were a little out of control here this year, even i was overwhelmed. that will not be happening again next year.

We loved getting your card and it's also a favorite tradition of ours. Nice work on the 4 Christmas gifts. I think every year you live in Cali those boys will be wanting the disney pass - I can't think of anything to top that one next year ;) Hope you feel better soon and that kiddo #5 finds a new kicking spot - maybe he'll be a soccer player? jk. Molly used to kick hard like that and I literally thought she would punch her little fist out, it hurt so bad. Just try to think that when he kicks so hard, he's just giving his hot mama a shout out of "I love you!" With every-single-step! Ouch!
