Spring Break

I have been having a great time with my kids having spring break. We have had a long spring break this year, two full weeks. I have to say there are so pro's and con's to this. Pro's I have loved sleeping in everyday. Having my kids home. I hate sending them to school. I miss them a lot when they go. Con's - trying to come up with activities that a mom on light activity can do with four very active boys. Lucky Chris has been getting home this week early for some odd reason every day. I love that. He has taken the kids to Chuck E Cheese, ice cream, was there for scouts this week, and just to have some great quality dad time.

I had Book Group yesterday and I love it. Its one of my favorite things I do. I love reading and I love see what people bring for the munchie that goes with the book. Well, it ended up that I did the munchie this month and it was so fun. We read "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet" by Jamie Ford.  It took me a bit to get into but all in all I liked it. The end really makes the book. Any how I ended up making California Rolls for the first time, bringing Poky( a treat that is really yummy from Japan. I remember eating while visiting my parents on their mission), Miso soup ( bought packets), and fortune cookies of course. It was a fun night. No one had finished the book which was a  bummer so we couldn't talk about the rest of the book but we sure had a fun time.

2 week spring break??! I bet the boys were loving that! Sounds like a fun book group - bummer not everyone read it. I'll have to add it to my list of books to read. Hope you're feeling good! I can't believe you're due so SOON! xoxo

I just got this book from a friend last night - she read it with her book club and loved it. I am going to look for the hotel when we go to Seattle in May!

I always love to hear about new books, so thanks!

I'm glad that you'll be able to walk around again in a couple and weeks and super glad that baby boy is doing well, but I have to say that I can't believe all that you doing while "taking it easy". :)
