Mommy make over

I have to tell you this was quite the process for me. I worked my tale off to get in shape. I looked at multiple surgeons. Found the one that fit me. Mostly cause all the nurses at Chris's surgery center told me he was hands down the best. He did an amazing job really!!

I went in on march 12 th for surgery. Tummy tuck, lipo (hips and sculpting) and breast augmentation.

Which to talk about first I think tummy. I was most nervous for this part what I saw on line was so scary. Friends told me it was so painful. If you are going to have one get these things; travel pillow, recliner, shower stool ( I was cheap and use our ikea tall stool.), hand held shower head, chair for the sink promise you will want to sit as much as possible, and loving people to help keep you on your pain meds. I was so glad that I worked out so much. My arms really helped me push up and out of the recliner which I'm so proud I was able to get up the first night all by myself. I tried to do most things myself after the first day of asking for help every time I had to go to the bathroom. I was like this is going to get old for me and Chris if I have to ask. So for working out my abs I was so glad I could use them and my thigh muscles. I had to walk hunched over mostly cause my skin didn't stretch. For two weeks I walked like that. At four weeks I finally can walk normal. My surgeon took two inches above my belly button to right above my private area. He recreated a new belly button. I love it!! At first it all looked super scary. I had bandages covering all my stitches. They were clear so you can imagine it not looking enticing. Also he did lipo on my sides he took a liter and a half off me. Think of a liter of soda. He was shocked I had that much. I was super swollen when I came out. Everything on my torso was soooo sore. I could barely move. I would just sit in the recliner with my legs elevated with pillows. I am four weeks out now and still stiff and swollen he says that may take another couple weeks. My incision is pencil thin. He was so good he was able to work it so my skin didn't pull making my incision spread. That's why some women's incisions look thicker. So all in all I am really happy so far.

As for my breast augmentation. I love them. I went as big as when I'm nursing so i didn't need a lift. I chose to go through the nipple cause my surgeon preferred to go that route. I pretty much have no scare. I know what you are all thinking did i loose my feeling? the answer is nope. Love that I did silicone so they feel really real. They are basically all healed.

I have tried to keep active and drink lots of water to help with swelling. Dr. Says to just keep a low heart rate. So at two weeks I was on the recumbent bike and 4 weeks I'm walking and doing arms. I cannot do any core inducing exercises.

I love feeling like a women again. I don't miss any of that loose skin.. Very happy!!!

I can't decide if I'm going to post pictures of my tummy. We will see...

I'm so glad you posted this. I've always thought that someday after I have kids, that if I couldn't get my post-baby body back or couldn't be happy with my new body, I'd want surgery too....so it's really interesting to hear about your experience. It sounds like it has been a long recovery, but that it's also going to be worth it. With how healthy I know you strive to be, you definitely deserve the body you want. Good for you. Post pics!

You totally need to post pics. I'm glad you're so happy. I can't imagine going through all that at once, but at the same time, it'd be nice to get it all over with.

I'm so glad that you posted about this. It's so frustrating to work out but know it'll never be the same as before the kids.
You should definitely post some before and afters. If you're going to be honest, go all out! :)
