Matthew was so cute the whole time we were potty training him. He would say ya I am sitting on my "potty train" I really think he thought it was a train. The other funny thing he would say after he pooped and we knew he really did poop was "Mom I pooped to the sky". He is such a great kid. As long as we keep giving him treat he seems to do great. He even is dry during the night. i think the key for this guys was we took the diapers away and never went back not even once. Its been two months and we are doing great. Besides bed time when he constantly gets out of bed to go potty. I can't stop him cause I would rather it be in the toilet then on the bed. So hopefully he grows out of that. I think Ethan is still working on that part so it might be awhile.

First of all, I'm wondering if you rub tanner on your kids.....it's winter for heaven sake, WHO HAS TAN KIDS?!?! :)
I love how his hands are strategically placed! Yea, I think the best way is to 100% take those diapers away too. I'm with ya! But I couldn't help but laugh about him thinking he's on his potty train!!!
Congratulations! That's a huge accomplishment. I'm going to start potty training Mylie soon and I can't wait to be all done with diapers! What will I do with all the money I'll be saving?

sammy did that for a month or two, going potty like 3 times right at bedtime and then waking up like 2 or 3 times during the night to go. luckily he did grow out of that. he still usually goes potty once right when the lights go out at bedtime, but he doesn't usually wake up anymore. i hope matthew gets there soon too. it sure is great to have them potty trained though isn't it?!
oh and i love how my boys stand by each other and go at the same time. hehe. we only have one bathroom so it happens often. boys!
Rachel I am really happy for you. Really. Not jealous at all. I love changing an almost 3 year olds diaper! Soo happy for you.
Can I send Emma to NC. for a couple days and see if you can potty train her.
